Dustin Dumas, Station Manager

Dustin Dumas is the station Manager for award-winning South Orange Maplewood Television (SOMAtv) in New Jersey. She provides oversight of PEG (Public, Educational, and Government Access Channels) for the Village of South Orange and Maplewood Township. She manages the day to day operations of the station and establishes and implements station policy.

She is an award-winning producer. SOMAtv won its first award in its nearly 30 year history under the leadership of Ms. Dumas for a public service announcement she produced. The station was awarded first place in the category, an Award of Excellence.

She hosts and produces, Dustin’s Kaleidoscope and What’s Up Around Town.

She is an active member of Jersey Access Group (JAG) and has served as Vice Chair and started the Independent Producer Corner column in the JAG newsletter. She has been part of community television stations in Illinois (Chicago area), California (Silicon Valley) and New Jersey (Northern).
